I had an RTT session with Dawn and I knew instantly that I had found the right therapist to work with me on my issue. It can be quite a daunting experience having therapy and sharing personal information with someone as sometimes sessions can make you feel very vulnerable but this was most definitely NOT the case with Dawn. Her warmth, her calming influence, kindness and her incredible capacity in making you feel like the most important person as she talks to you was so comforting and refreshing at the same time.

I have suffered periodically through my life with my mental health with anxiety and depression and I was at a very low ebb when my friend suggested that I seek out professional help from Dawn. I had not heard of this type of therapy before but i thought it would be worth trying.
At the start of our session immediately Dawn put me at my ease with her caring and soothing voice. It was a long session, 2.5 hours. All the way through Dawn was brilliant at helping me to get the most out of the session. It was intense and I was worn out afterwards, Dawn must have been also but it was so worthwhile. The next day I felt noticeably better. After this one session I felt like I had taken a giant step forward in the right direction. It was better than I could have hoped for.
Now day upon day I am thankfully getting better and mentally stronger.

I asked Dawn to give me an RTT session because I had a problem with lots of anxiety around constantly feeling the urge to go to the toilet. I was generally ok when I was relaxed in my own home but as bedtime approached I would repeatedly go to the toilet lots of times. I kept feeling the urge to go and then I would wake up in the night, sometimes as often as 3 times to go to the toilet again. I seemed to be in a cycle I could not get out of.
My problem was particularly acute when I was out of my home. Walks in the countryside were becoming increasingly distressing and the fear of needing the toilet was actually spoiling any enjoyment of being outdoors.
My actual session was really quite emotional for me but I felt completely safe in Dawn’s capable hands. She led me powerfully but gently through the whole process and then sent me a wonderful personal, bespoke recording to help me to rewire my thinking. I have not completed my ‘21 days’ yet but here is what is already happening. I have noticed that I am generally much more relaxed about the whole issue of ‘needing’ to go. In the past the first thing I would ever do on arriving at my local shopping centre was go to the toilet. Last week I was about to go into the toilets when I just thought, ‘Oh I can’t be bothered, there’s no need.’
Last weekend I went on a walk with a friend and we were out walking for 2 ½ hours. It was only when I got home that I realised I hadn’t even thought about the toilet! When I used to leave my house I had a habit of going to the toilet multiple times and now I have noticed that I just need to go once. I am also going to the toilet before bedtime just once or twice instead of multiple times like before. I have also begun to sleep through the night for at least 5 hours before waking up.
None of this happened in an instant. I just slowly began to realise that the anxiety I had felt was just drifting away. It was as if it was just falling softly away from me without me even thinking about it. Thank you Dawn - I am on the path to reclaiming this part of my life back all thanks to you and your wonderful therapy.
